A tiki charter boat is a recreational boat that is designed with a tropical, tiki-themed aesthetic. Our boat is often used for parties and celebrations, and features a thatched roof, bamboo accents, and other tiki decor.
Activities on the Kanaloa Tiki charter boat include sightseeing, cruising, and partying. We also offer health & wellness activities such as yoga, boot camp, and Zumba on the sand bar. We are equipped with great amenities such as a sound system, LED lights, and seating for guests.
We allow you to bring your own food and drinks. We'll help with ice, and coolers to keep your party rolling.
All minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21 who will be responsible for monitoring behavior. Children 6 and under must wear life jackets at all times while onboard the vessel. We will have life jackets onboard for young children.
You may bring a personal-size cooler with alcoholic beverages on our social cruises. Private charters may bring full-size coolers with beverages and food of choice. Passengers must wear their boarding wristband at all times.
Please remember, that alcohol consumption by minors is not allowed and will result in the cancellation of the remainder of the trip. We will not refund any costs in this situation. We have a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy.
The Kanaloa Tiki boat has a great sound system that may be accessed by Bluetooth. Private charters may DJ their excursion while the crew will manage the tunes on Social Cruises. We will always take requests and do our best to accommodate everyone's music preferences while onboard.
Private charters may bring their dogs aboard if they are well-behaved and remain on a leash while aboard the vessel. Pets are not permitted on Social Cruises; however, service animals will always be permitted on a leash. Please contact the sales office in advance if you plan to bring a pet or service animal.
The Kanaloa must be captained by one of our licensed master captains for your safety and ours.
In most cases, you must book your cruise or private party in advance. If we are operating hop-on in front of the River Deck Marina then you may grab a seat on the fly with our super easy mobile booking services.
Times vary depending on the cruise you select: happy hour and sunsets are 2 hours, and private charters are 3-6 hours.
We recommend you bring towels, hats, sunglasses, extra sunscreen, and extra clothes in case it is windy or cold. You can also bring your own snacks and beverages, and a cooler will be on board with ice.
Yes, there is a full stand-up restroom on board. Please follow the rules posted in the restroom for disposing of paper items.
Yes, the Kanaloa is equipped with USCG certified on and off ramps and hand holds, allowing easy access on and off the boat.
If we determine the conditions are unsafe; we will cancel the tour. We monitor the weather 24/7. Cancellation decisions are made up to one hour before the tour is set to depart. In that case, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule if possible.
We require 24 hours' notice to issue a full refund.
Parties who fail to show up for a cruise and groups who did not give a 24-hour notice confirmed by phone call/text will not receive a refund or option to apply a credit to another cruise. You may send another party in your place.
Cancellations with more than 24 hours notice will receive a full refund minus a 10% transaction fee.
Guests must check in and park their vehicle at our 300 Magnolia Street location.
